1. BRYANT PARK HBO Summer Film Festival

Manhattan’s most popular free outdoor cinema event runs every Monday night just after sundown. The lawn opens at 5pm so come early to secure a good spot.  No chairs , tables, alcohol or dogs are allowed but you can bring some snacks and cold drinks. 2. SLIDE THE CITY

Slide the City kicks off summer by bringing 1000 feet of slick vinyl, that’s over 3 football fields in size, to brighten the city streets. It is a family friendly slip-and-slide water party event with live music, food, drinks, water, and of course the biggest slip and slide ever to hit asphalt. Make sure to bring your water buckets, floaties, and water guns (non-realistic of course), to squirt, spray, splash, and get all attending soaked.

3. CONEY ISLAND

Coney Island is a one stop location for all things fun. Of course you can enjoy the beach, lots of places to eat and grab an icy margarita or beer by the boardwalk, Nathan’s Famous hot dogs, cotton candies, caramel apples, the Aquarium and an amusement park with tons of fun rides.

4. BOATING AT CENTRAL PARK

Boating on the Lake, Central Park's second largest water body, is a great way to spend a lazy summer afternoon or a romantic getaway in the Park. Row boats can be rented at the Loeb Boathouse daily, rentals cost $12 for the first hour and $3 each additional 15 minutes between 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. up to four people permitted per boat.
