What's Hot This Fall!

What's Hot This Fall!

Labor day is a few days away which means Fall is coming! It’s finally the end of summer but although it’s back to school for students and end of beach days for most, there’s more to look forward to this cuddle weather than just pumpkin spice lattes, warm apple crisps and cinnamon spiced everything.

We have summed up some of the hottest beauty and fashion trends for you this Fall:

Metallic eyeshadow: Metallic eyeshadow options can range from silver to bronze to rose gold. Pick your color of choice and use an eyeshadow brush to fill in from the lashline to the crease. Add dimension to a metallic shadow by using a bold black eyeliner for depth and drama.  Make sure your eyes are the highlight of the whole look and go for a paler lip color or a matte lip.

Earthy shades: If summer is into whites, neons and pastel colors, go for a more subdued look this season with a soft eggplant colored sweater or other earthy muted tones illuminated by shimmering touches of gold, silver, bronze or copper.

Double winged eyeliner: Double yet delicate cat-eye liner is the perfect complement to your layered fall outfit. The retro 70’s look is always a hit during this season. Start with a cream eyeliner and line your upper waterline from the inner corner of your eye all the way to the outer one. Do this again on your lower waterline. Take black liquid eyeliner and then apply it as close as you can to your upper lash line. Start in the inner corner of your eyes and work your way outward – the line should get a little bit thicker as you move outward. Make the eyeliner go all the way out about 1/4 to 1/2 inch and then create a winged look by slightly moving the line upwards. Do this again but this time on your lower lash line. Use the upper line as a guide – the winged part should be parallel to each other.

Bold and messy lashes: Clumpy lashes are no longer a beauty faux pas, but something to be desired. The inspiration is to look like rebel schoolgirls discovering mascara for the first time — inky, messy, and gorgeous. To get the layered-lash look, apply several coats of mascara to the top and bottom lashes. Hold the want vertically to get the clumpy effect after you've curled your lashes with an eyelash curler.

1920's Hair: Channel your inner Gatsby Flapper girl and go for cinematic kiss-curls with the help of a crimper or curling iron and side-swept bangs.  Hair accessories like a pretty headband could also help you recreate this look.

Matte Brown Lipstick:  Yep, the 90’s is back this Fall with earthy deep matte brown lipstick which you can see in almost all celebrities nowadays on Instagram, Kylie Jenner, Zendaya, Rihanna, Beyonce are all rocking this look. Just make sure you wear minimal eyeshadow or none at all to make your lippie stand out.
